We are an independent, non-profit and non-political charity which works with people who have a mental health related issue, other voluntary organisations and statutory services to promote mental well-being. We aim to ensure there is a comprehensive range of mental health services throughout Wales.
Our objective is to support people to make long-lasting changes in the areas of their lives that are currently not working for them. We aim to provide the best support to people affected by mental health, their families and carers.
This summer, we’re proud to be partnering with SPAR and AF Blakemore on a new community wellbeing campaign – SPARk Up A Conversation. The campaign is all about using everyday summer moments to encourage open, honest conversations about mental health. Whether it’s while standing by the BBQ, enjoying a picnic or catching up over a cold drink, we’re encouraging people to pause, check in, and ask, “How are you, really?”
As one of the chosen charity partners, we’re helping shape the advice and resources that will be shared across local SPAR stores, BBQ events and social media this summer. It’s a brilliant opportunity to reach new audiences with a simple message: that talking – and listening – can make a big difference.
We’re incredibly grateful to be involved – and we hope Spark Up A Conversation will inspire more people to connect, reflect, and support one another this summer. You can follow along and join in using #SparkUpAConversation on social media.
